King of Boys 2 is Coming Sooner Than You Expected

Few days after the government lifted bans on cinemas nationwide, news is reaching the Nigerian blogosphere that ‘King of Boys’ –– a political crime thriller produced and directed by award-winning Nollywood filmmaker Kemi Adetiba is getting a sequel.

Adetiba shared the new teaser via her Instagram page hinting the return of Makanaki, a clever and notorious gangster role played by rapper Reminisce who many thought was vanquished at the end of King of Boys 1. 

Eniola Badmus (Real name: Sola Sobowale) isn’t found wanting too, as she will be gracing our screens alongside Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Deyemi Okanlawon. Fans of King of Boys 1 can’t wait to pick up from where they left off. Watch the teaser here:
