Shalom Dubas’ 1-Day EP, Mint, Green. is all about inventiveness and fulfilment.

It’s 420 Day! Social distancing has set us apart but one of the few things that bring us together, asides the internet and weed, is good music. Alternative rapper and singer Shalom Dubas has just released a one day album in commemoration of the day and it’s only going to be available for listening over the next 24 hours on Audiomack and SoundCloud.

Mint, Green. EP is Shalom’s message to herself and gift to other young people going through life. As the name suggests, Mint represents a sense of fresh air, and Green means wasted youth. The EP is a body of new inspiration and actualised youth, and there’s no better time than now, when the whole world especially young people are observing an imposed moment of rediscovery. Set on a backdrop of new school hip-hop beats, afro-infused tones, airy synths and witty rhymes, Mint, Green. is Shalom’s foot in the door as the proceeds to her seat at the table.
