Spy Shitta The EP is a 7-song sonic dive into Spy Shitta’s music journey, told in the first person and delivered with the delectable grace of a smooth storyteller. Armed with a special voice, svelte pen game, and a co-sign by Afrobeats superstar- Olamide- Spy Shitta is a revelation on his debut project and a worthy cut to look out for.

On his debut project, Spy incorporates folk with pop, fuses dancehall into afrobeat and serve a complete assortment of songs that shows off his versality and style. On the project opener- Thankful- the artist graciously submits to the his muse and the divine to create a hustler anthem inspired by years of pursing his dreams. Carolina and Migraine are the two tracks that follows. On the former, Spy Shitta sings a serenade to his object of affection and makes promises of devotion. On the latter, Spy is gleefully obsessed with his muse’s shape.

On Whine and Kele, Spy Shitta continues to show his proclivity for the title of lover boy as he continues to swear by the beauty and grace of black women. Cry- the project’s penultimate track presents a vocally inspired experience of Spy Shitta. Here, the Artist is sober and waiting for his muse to lean on him. The project’s closer is the highly acclaimed Kolobi, featuring Olamide. Splayed on Eskeez bouncy beat, Spy Shitta combines effortlessly with Olamide to give the project worthy closure.

Gifted and inspired, Spy Shitta’s offerings present him as a potent canvas that could yet produce some of Afrobeat’s beloved songs. The seven-track is a promise and a marker for the singer’s obvious talent and the possibilities that await him.
