Suté has been around for a while, you could say he’s been slept on a lot by the culture but that never stopped him. From his debut tape you can tell he makes music for himself first, it has been a way of releasing his consciousness as well as suppressing his demons, on both ends he crafts it all as lyrical vibes we can consume and meditate to.

It’s sometimes hard to understand his cause at first listen but as the verses flow you get to understand the context of the information he’s passing.

‘Girl Like You’ is something different though, Suté is putting all his mind on ‘that girl’, and no love poem could be delivered more consciously. The production is not what you’d expect, a very mellow, kicked back the use of percussions forming a trance for his lover to move to.
You gotta give it to Suté, he’s good with the ladies.
