Oby Ezekwesili has just withdrawn from the Nigerian presidential race

The only woman in the race to become president of Nigeria in the imminent elections scheduled to hold in a few weeks has just pulled out. The presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) through her spokesperson Ozioma Ubabukoh, announced that she will now devote her time “to to help build a coalition to defeat the All Progressives Congress and the People’s Democratic Party in the February 16, 2019 election”.

Who or which party Oby will join forces with is still unknown but she previously tried to get the trio of Kingsley Moghalu, Omoyele Sowore and Fela Durotoye to agree on a consensus candidate among themselves.
