Tochi Bedford Teams Up With Cruel Santino for Laidback Trap Number, ‘Disintegrate’

Producer and founder of 44dbcollective Tochi Bedford has spent most of the year feeding hits to artists like Odunsi [The Engine] and Bianco. Now stepping out of the shadows and shifting his attention to his solo career, he taps in Cruel Santino to serve us a laidback trap number, ‘Disintegrate’.

Tochi has been in his trap bag lately and this is evident in his recent work with Uglymoss and Odunsi on ‘Creep’ and ‘nü finesse’ respectively. Following suit in this manner, ‘Disintegrate’ is a spacey, relaxed trap cut, peppered with head-bopping percussions, fluttering hi-hats and a looped epiano sample. This meld of sounds provides the perfect backdrop for Tochi and Santi’s playful & easy-going, mid-tempo flows.

Speaking to Tochi on the creation of the record, he tells me,

”I recorded the song back in November and sent it over to Higo and he told me Santi would work out nicely on the second verse. So I sent it to Santi and we worked on it together”

Self-produced and co-mixed by GMK, ‘Disintegrate’ is the first single off Tochi’s upcoming debut EP, Eternal Mob, scheduled for release later this year.
